By accessing or using busybettyllc.com (the “Website”) or by booking any of our professional services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Website or engage our services.

1. Scope of Services

  • Premium Home Care & Estate Sitting: General estate management, oversight, lifestyle concierge assistance, and mobile notary public services.

  • Pet Care & Pet Sitting: In-home pet care, feeding, and basic lifestyle management.

  • Transportation & Livery Services: Private passenger transport, student transport, airport shuttles, and specialized pet transportation.

  • Facebook Marketplace Selling Services: Digital consignment and localized asset management.

2. Transportation and Livery Service Terms

By booking transportation services with Busy Betty, LLC, clients explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following provisions:

  • Operating Compliance: Busy Betty, LLC operates passenger transport services in compliance with state-specific regulations. We maintain active, mandatory transport permits and commercial livery insurance coverage tailored to passenger transport operations.

  • Service Scope & Vehicle Use: Fleet transport—including point-to-point travel, airport shuttles, and safe school runs—is provided exclusively by authorized, company-listed drivers utilizing designated fleet vehicles (such as our Infiniti QX80).

  • Pet Transport Requirements: For specialized pet transport, owners must provide appropriate crates, secure harnesses, or required safety restraints. Busy Betty, LLC reserves the right to decline transport to any animal exhibiting signs of dangerous aggression or highly contagious illness.

  • Behavior and Right of Refusal: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unruly, dangerous, or illegal behavior inside company vehicles. Drivers retain complete authority to terminate a transport segment immediately if passenger or driver safety is compromised, without refund to the client.

3. Home Staging, Styling, and Estate Care Terms

  • Access and Safe Working Environment: The client must provide clear, safe, and legal access to the designated property. For owner-occupied home staging or estate sitting, the client is responsible for securing high-value valuables, firearms, and highly sensitive documentation prior to service commencement.

  • Independent Contractors and Safety: Busy Betty, LLC operates with a strict "Zero Judgment" approach. However, our staff reserves the right to pause or cancel on-site operations if a property presents biohazardous, structurally unsafe, or hostile conditions.

4. Mobile Notary Public Services

Notary Public Service Terms and Disclaimers

  • Mobile & Travel Logistics: Mobile notary services require an agreed-upon, safe meeting location. Travel fees are calculated based on mileage and timing, and are separate from standard statutory notary fees. Travel fees remain due and payable if the signing cannot be completed due to missing documentation or signer non-compliance.

  • Legal Advice Disclaimer: Busy Betty, LLC’s notaries are not attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. We cannot give legal advice, interpret document language, or assist in drafting, preparing, or choosing legal documents. For legal questions, please consult a qualified attorney.

  • Identification Verification: In strict accordance with the Colorado Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA), every signer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport) at the physical time of the signing.

  • Right to Refuse Service: Our commissioned notaries are legally obligated to refuse service if a signer exhibits signs of confusion, coercion, or intoxication, or if they appear unable to demonstrate full cognitive awareness and intent of the transaction.

  • Loose Certificate Attachments: If a document does not contain legally compliant notarial wording, a separate paper certificate will be completed and securely attached directly to the physical document at the time of execution, as mandated by C.R.S. 24-21-515.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • General Website Use: This Website and its content are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Busy Betty, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding website downtime, server interruptions, or inadvertent layout errors.

  • Service Provision: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Busy Betty, LLC's cumulative financial liability for any claim, damage, or loss arising out of property staging, estate care, or transportation services shall not exceed the total dollar amount paid by the client to Busy Betty, LLC for that specific service segment.

  • Third-Party Delays: We are not liable for service delays or failures caused by acts of God, extreme Colorado/Michigan weather events, major traffic delays, or third-party platform interruptions (e.g., Wix, Facebook Marketplace).
